Conquent Experience
I ran Conquent for 10 years as a full service Internet development firm in Portland Oregon. In addition to day-to-day operations as a working owner, I also secured new clients while managing a 20 person team that developed new technologies and solutions to support a broad range of business objectives for a very diverse client set.
Below are some highlights of these projects:
ABC/Disney
Created complete online sweepstakes system for the final season of LOST using cloud based technology to manage traffic and registrations during peak times with high transactions per second.
US Department of Transportation
Developed educational product in conjunction with multiple federal and regional jurisdictions. Managed full development from content through manufacturing and distribution. The final product has not only succeeded with its original target, but has been recognized internationally for its innovation and success.
Tyson Foods
Developed a range of projects including online sweepstakes, Facebook applications, and online games to engage a broad consumer market. Successfully quadrupled the direct marketing database.
Michelin
Introduced the first Facebook application for the international, 120 year old tire manufacturer. Increased Michelin's social presence while developing best practices for future Facebook applications.
Ironclad Performance Wear
Complete redesign of the company's online, consumer facing website. Integrated orders with Great Plains backend, allowing the company to increase order processing with existing labor, integrated "contextual like buttons" on product pages to promote specific products through Facebook without interrupting the sales process creating dramatic increases in sales and efficiencies throughout the web enterprise.
Allergan
Working within insurance and corporate privacy issues, developed a private Botox insurance tracking system allowing real-time access by the national sales staff to review procedures and reimbursements on a company by company basis.
HealthPort
Translation of antiquated 16 bit Windows application to a consumer facing, web based application while maintaining FDA and HIPPA compliance. Development led to multi-million dollar licensing to an international nutraceutical company and streamlined overall company operations to reduce technical support staff by 50%.
Tech Hero
Took start-up from concept to execution including developing company brand identity (web, print, outdoor, vehicles, etc.) through web based franchise management software which managed all aspects of franchisee operations including automatic restocking of inventory and real-time franchise reports for corporate auditing and support.
